Cards, Cards and more Cards

Well of I went to Moorooka again this week and I made these 3 Christmas cards.

And then I was asked to make a 50th Birthday Card for a very lovely lady,
 Happy Birthday Anmarie
This one was made for Judy to give to Anmarie, this one has lots of folds and a couple of little pockets
This is it opened up fully

Then with the little tags taken out, I used some rubons for the tags,

This shows it with the flap up and I added some little butterflies,

I made this one today also for Anmarie,  it also has a couple of folds,

I used Kaiser Paper and Stampin Up Cardstock and Ribbon

This is the inside, its like and extra card,

And the inside of the little card.

I hope you had a great birthday Anmarie.

Girls Night In

Well there are a lot of things to tell you about our GNI.
For starters I would like to thank each and everyone of you for attending, 25 of us were in my Garage last night and we had a great time. We painted Kaiser Christmas Trees, made Creative Memories Paper Albums and also made Kaszazz Surprise Boxes.
Also a big thanks to Tracy from My 2 Angels, who donated all of the Little Charms, Flowers and Heart shaped Felt Embellishments for your Early Bird Gifts, Mel from Intimo, and also Margaret from Miche Bags, Katrina from Kaszazz, give them an email if you would like to know more about there products.
We had lots of Sponsors who donated some great prizes for us. Avon, Stampin - Up, Kaszazz, Kaiser, Creative Memories, Acacia Jewellers, Acacia Ridge Chemist, Domino's Pizza, Cadbury Chocolates. Well over $2000.00 worth of prizes so thanks once again to all those who donated. We sold lots of raffle tickets and raised $598.00 for the Cancer Council.
Here we all are,
This is doing the Kaiser Trees

The Kaszazz Surprise Boxes

And Creative Memories Paper Album Kits

So in closing I would love to thank you all again, I was out very early again this morning as Gary had a V8 Super Car Experience at Willowbank, but I came home to hear a very lovley message on my answering machine from one of you ladies who attended she will know who she is but I am not telling.
She said and I quote
" Shelley I had a wonderful night it was such a delight to be out, I really enjoyed myself, all the gifts I received were wonderful thanks again for a great night".
So thank you for those kind words and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as I did. And the most important thing is the money we raised.

EK Success Edger Punches

Well I have bought a couple more of the Border Punches, They are Garden Flower Chain and Chinese Knot Chain, so I made a couple of borders with them and added some Dragonflies and Butterflies from Creative Memories punches.

And here is a card I made with the new punch, I actually weaved it together and used the little flowers that Punch out as well so nothing on this one is wasted.

Well its getting closer to the Girls Night In on Saturday 23rd October so I probably wont be posting anything until after then.
Hope you all have a wonderful week. Shelley

Easel Calendar Gift Box

I know I think I am a bit obsessed with these at the moment but I thought I would show you this one that I made with the Creative Memories Make A Wish Paper.

I even did the Calendar in blue.

All of the embellishments are from the Make A Wish Embellishment pack.
Just thought I would add this extra photo of my hubby's new Toy, he had to get the red one I would of preferred the Yellow but he couldn't see himself riding around on it. This will probably be my first and last go on the new Toy.

Now that's my kind of mowing getting plenty of exercise.
Until next time.

Easel Calendar Gift Box

What a lovely unexpected morning I had today with Lexie and Renata at Moorooka.
I walked in looking for some buttons and walked out 3 hours later having made this gorgeous little project.
What a great idea its all packed into a gift box and its a Calendar ready for 2011.
The best part is its all cut out ready for you, so all I had to do was score, fold, glue, colour and stick with double sided tape and mounting foam.We used Nestabillities, Carl Punches, Stamp Pads. Put it all together and WOW here it is.
This is the front of the Box
Then with the lid of
Then the Easel Card out of the box.

A close up of the Calendar matts, there are 6 with one month on the front and then the next on the back.

Then they fit into the little pocket on the front.

This is a close up of the embossed stamp on the front of the card.
I had been felling a bit weary all week and this just picked me up, so thanks Ladies for today and also for asking me back next week. I will be there with bells on and without parking in the 1 Hour area and getting a parking fine for $50. Oh well I think it was worth it.
Enjoy Every Moment

New Punches and Embossing Folders

Just taking a break from organising the Girls Night In, I have been wrapping up various prizes that have been donated for the raffles so far I have around 10 and still have more to go.
So I thought I would show you some cards I have been making with the New Border Punches that I have just got from " EK Success"

This one is Tulip's, and I have used my Nestabillities its a new one as well called Beaded Circles,
Its cut out on very shiny paper so you cant see that I have stamped in the middle with a Stampin- Up Stamp. It say's " a friend is someone who makes it easy".I have also used pink Kaiser Rhinestones on each of the smaller circles.

And Flowers I think they called it Daisy.
I have used my Nestabillities once again and added some little Dragonflies that I cut out with my Creative Memories Dragon Fly Punch which comes with a Free punch, there are 3 to choose from you can contact me on my website for more details.

This one is done once again with my Nestabillities its called Sunflower and I thought it matched perfectly with the New Craft Concepts Embossing Folder "Sunrays". You can just see if you look closely I have used my Stampin Up Chalk's and added a little bit of colour in a circle around the flowers and right out to the edge.
Cheers and Enjoy
