Give Away

I would like to reach 50 follower's, and I have some prizes to give away. Some become a follower and leave a comment so you can win in the random draw. These are some of the prizes you will win, there will be a Stamp, Die Cuts and Letters in each set of Kaiser Dear Santa or Christmas Carnival.
My daughter had a 21st to go to this weekend and she asked me to make the card and she wanted a little bag or box to put the pressie in so this is what I came up with.

I used Kaier Utopia Paper Pad for most of it and added some cardstock, ribbon and of course used one of my new flowers that I got from the Craft Expo. I changed the colour of the lace using a Copic Marker.

I couldn't leave the back of the bag plain so I just added this to the back.
I hope she liked it.

Craft Expo

Tracey, Lola and myself set out for the Craft Expo today, they picked me up at 7.45 and we got home around 4 pm. We had a fantastic day got lots of ideas and grabbed heaps of bargains. Spent a few dollars or more but it was well worth it. This is a picture of all my goodies I got today, can't wait to get in and make something with it all.

We also bumped into a friend of ours who is so also very talented so pop over and check out Cathy's blog, she was with her sister and had finished here shopping until I saw her again and we all just had to buy some of these flowers.
The larger white flowers I am going to use on a Wishing Well for my daughter's engagement party. There are 4 bunches of them and they only cost me $10.
Hope you enjoy.

ETC - Kaiser with Melissa and Alison

Here is a double page spread I did at Kaiser Browns Plains today, with Melissa Kennedy and Alison Hannah. They are both wonderful teacher's both with different ideas, we had a lovely morning trying all sorts of techniques.
We used English Rose Paper Collection, made our own flowers as well as using the Kaiser Paper Blooms.
We used the paper and cut it into strips and added the embellishments, lace and inked all the edges. There was so much to do so I finished mine at home.

We used a product called Diamond Dust (Twinklets) on the flowers, you have to be very careful as it is actually cut glass.

I hope you like what we did.

Cricut Cartridges 84 and counting.

I have just up dated my Cricut Cartridge List. My total is now 84 Cartridges and I have another 6 that I have recently purchased that I am waiting for. So when they arrive the total will be 92.
I know you are all thinking how could I possibly need that many and yes you are probably right, but the thing is I just see different shapes and fonts, flowers and characters and my needing turns into wanting and then just having to have them.
I am busy with my daughter Jess and her fiance Luke's engagement party at the moment and then I am going away for holiday's, but when I get back I am going to start from the last letter of the Alphabet Z and work my way backwards to A, and I will post a card or a scrapbooking page at least every week where I have used that Cartridge. So stay tuned and become a follower as I will be giving away a few prizes.
These are my shelves where my Cartridges are, maybe I need a few more shelves.
Kaiser Plastic Storage Pockets are great for storing your Solutions Cartridges in.

So keep checking to see when I start my first project with my Cricut Cartridges.

Alyssa's Birthday and Mr Cricut

This is the photo I was waiting to put on with these photos of Alyssa's birthday. Here I am in Tereesa and Alyssa's Craft room giving Alyssa's Mr Cricut a cuddle, she was very luck to have been given him by Jane from Scossie Jane she bought him back from CHA and sent him to Alyssa.

Well I made this lovley little draw set from Kaiser for Alyssa for her Birthday on Saturday. I used all of the Kaiser Magic Happens Paper and some of the Embellishments to match.

This is one side where I put the Little Unicorn
The other side I just positioned the paper so the Fairy would be on the side.
These are the Chipboard Embellishments that I used for the top of the drawers, and I added some Kaiser Flowers as well as some bling down the front.
I then had to make her a card to go with it so I decided on using my Spellbinders Nestabillities Large Dies that you use the Grand Calibar to cut them out. Then I cut out the Blue Fairy Godmother from Cricut Cartridge Disney Classics.

I also used a Marthda Stewart Punch for the Heart shapes.
I am really glad she liked it.

My Birthday

As some of you may know already through Tracey's blog it was my birthday on Monday and we went Op Shop Shopping. Tracey has already put her photo of us trying on wedding dresses but this is how I did mine.
I used the Creative Memories Storybook to add and edit the photo's.
These are some of the cards that I got from my Family and friends.

My daughter made me this card and
of course I cant have a birthday without her famous Cup Cake's

Tracey from Trace-Elementz made me this cute little jar with my very own Fairy inside, she is guarding lots of little jewels

These cards are from Karin who I see every wednesday at card classes and then the other one is from My God Daughter Kirra.

Thanks everyone for making my birthday very special I am so blessed to have a wonderful Family and Fantastic Friends.

Kaiser 12 Frame Photo Display

Well I have finally finished my Kaiser Photo Display, although as you can see I haven't put any photo's in it. I wanted to use the special Kaiser paper they have designed to fit these Frames. This has to be one of my favourites so far English Rose. I painted the frame first and then added the paper which I cut to fit in behind the frames.
I have used Kaiser wooden flourishes and sprayed them with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Viva Pink. And I did the same for the Kaiser Doily.  This is how the English Rose paper comes.
This is the finished frame.

Kaiser Crochet Doily that I sprayed with the Glimmer Mist

I used my Copic Pens to change the colour of the Lace and I also made the flowers under the word Treasure with a Die-Namics Steal Die. You use it in your Cuttlebug and I cut the flowers from Felt and then just glued them on.

These are just bought flowers and then I found this little piece of old fashioned lace in my stash.
Lots of Kaiser Pearls and Rhinestone's. I love my Bling.

I am not sure where I am going to hang this yet but I am sure I will find somewhere.
Enjoy Shelley
