Another Llittle Box

This is another little box that I have made for 2 challenges this week.
The first is for Totally Tilda Challenge is anything but a card, but you do have to use Magnolia Stamps.
The second is for Just Magnolia Challenge  Butterfly theme using Magnolia or Hanglar & Stanglar images.
So I bought this little box awhile ago thinking I would use it for something, don't we all have those sorts of things floating around in our craft rooms, well at least I am getting to use one of them.
I used Magnolia's Tilda as a Butterfly Stamp and Open Gate, I have used a Martha Stewart around the page  Punch to make the leaf shape and added some Kaiser Rhinestones, Flowers and Butterfly Flourishes.

I also used Spellbinders Nestabilities for the edge of the box. I am not sure where I am going to put it but I am sure I will find somewhere.

Card and Recipe Boxes

Well finallly after a few months of looking at these gorgeous boxes at Michelle Cards &Stamps where I go once as month to make various cards. Michelle decided to do an all day workshop to make them. Of course we couldn't decide on which one we wanted to make so we did both. If you head over to there website they have an enormous range of Magnolia Stamps, which I am getting quite a collection of. I have talen the photos from different angles so there are quite a few.So without keeping you in suspense any longer here is the first one for Cards.

And the Blue on for a Recipe Box.

And here are the two of them together.

I hope you enjoy looking at these two boxes as much as I enjoyed making them.
Head over to Michelles Cards and Stamps for any more information.

Well I did tell you I was catching up on scrapbooking, seems I cant do anything else at the moment, I have the flu and feel terrible. This first sketch is for Kaiser Saturday Sketch June # 2.
I just love this collection Party Animals and I have used 12 x 12 paper and the 6 1/2 Paper Pads as well. Its all Kaiser except for the Cardstock.

This is what we had to copy,

And my second page layout will go with this in the album and its the Kaiser Saturday Sketch # 3. I have used the same papers for this one as well.

This is what we had to copy
This is a close up of the photo in this one, I have actually used the same paper to make him a Kaiser Train.
This is one side of the Train
The other side of the Train
This is the front of the Train and as you can see Heath is the driver.
Cant wait for the Sketch tomorrow so I can get more photo's in Heath's Birthday Album.

Here is a close up if the Martha Stewart Butterfly punch and the Kaiser Rub on.
The photo is of myself and my dear friend Tanya at her Black and Bling 40th Birthday Party so I thought the colours went really well.

Scrap The Boys Challenge

Well I did say in my last post that I got a few page layouts done, so here is my first try with Scrap the Boys Challenge, I have finished my second layout for Scrap the Girls Challenge but I have got to take a picture of it. So for the month of June we had to use these colours with a little bit of black for journalling.

Here is my layout of little Heath, he comes to play every Monday afternoon so his mummy can spend time with his sister in her classroom, so we get to play and we have lots of fun.

Can you believe Heath turned 1 on Wednesday and he is having his first birthday party today, I think I am more excited than he is.

Kaiser Saturday Sketch

Well I am back from a fantastic weekend of Scrapping, great company and great food.
Before I tell you about the first challenge, I would like to share with you the great news that my page layout from Scrapbook Awards in April/May won the PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS FOR BABIES. A special thanks to Sherie for letting me publish the picture's of Kirra and Heath.

I thought I would catch up on a couple of Challenges while I was away.  I will do each post separately, the first is the Kaiser Saturday Sketch for June no1.
I love this photo of our daughter Jessie, she decided to water her Daddy while he was watering the garden.
You have to use at least 70% Kaiser products so the only think that isn't on here is the cardstock, ribbon and lace. So come on Kaiser and get some Cardstock and I could use that as well.
Will post the next challenge up soon.
Cheers Shelley

The Scrapbook Awards

Hello everyone I entered 2 of my Layouts in the Scrapbook Awards for those of you who may not have seen this site this is a quote from there site.

Scrapbookawards.com is the only International Awards site dedicated to rewarding and recognizing the creative talents of the scrapbooking community. We offer you the ultimate peer recognition and awards for inspiring talent from the novice scrapper to influential designers.

These are the 2 layouts that I entered, Kirra and her baby brother Heath, made with Creative Memories paper Make A Wish. I received 90 votes for this one and the winner got 94.

This one is Jessie made with Kaiser Paper Chanteuse, and I only has this in for a few weeks out of the 2 months and got 58 votes. So I am quite proud of myself. Some of the layouts are fantastic and made by well known scrappers.

A couple of very special friends said to me you don't have to be a winner, just give it a go and everyone looks at layouts/cards etc through their own eyes, and we all have different tastes and ideas.
Hope you enjoy looking at these.
Hugs Shelley

Birthday Sundaes

Well over at Birthday Sundaes they have their weekly card challenge and this week its Create a Masculine Birthday Card. There are always ways of making a pretty card for a little Girl or a lovely Lady and you can even make a really cute card for little Boy, but lets face it its a lot harder for men. So I have used Kaiser Paper Pad Shaken Not Stired, I love these pads as you don't really need anything else apart from the actual card. I have used my Nestabilities to cut the round shapes on the front and added some red rhinestones just to Jazz it up a bit.
I think this is a pretty good Masculine Card let me know what you think.
